The Effects of Emotions Based on Music

I've listened to so many more types of music since I've gone to college. Before this, I really only reflected my dads music. My dad hated rap so I hated rap. I still hate rap though.....it sucks....lol. At college it is pretty damn easy to tell the type of person based on their music choice. A'll in all there are going to be outliers that don't reflect some images (yes there're a few straight guys that listen to Taylor Swift) but for the most part music genres create a cult in this sense. I've recently gotten into metal , and that shit is pretty damn evil. The lyrics, the musicians, and especially the concerts. Nevertheless its an awesome genre and creates fun emotions. Many people are like "Why would you want to be angry? "How could you listen to that stuff?".....Well dont people go to haunted houses to get scared? Life has given us so many emotions why not use them all? Many people in chess agree that you have to "hate" the person across the board while you are playing him/her. I completely agree with that statement. In the tournaments that I have played in you play a shit load of people you dont know. Many times you never get to actually know about the person before/during/after you play. I still use this anger technique to really push me to the limit. Anyone that plays football knows what im talking about. you "GOTTA GET PISSED"... im trying to use the quotation marks to imply the fine line between competition and anger lol. Back to music......Its like a concentrated burst of emotion..... Some people carry this emotion into the rest of their lives which pretty much ruins it for the rest of us. Yes there are some crazy ass people that cant control their anger and metal probably just furthers their anger problems. These people should not listen to metal.... In fact they should take a break and listen to Taylor swift for a few weeks. I am directing this" demand to listen to metal" to the ones who are mentally stable which should be most people. If you believe that there is more evil in the world then there is good maybe this doesn't look great to you. Just like how sadness can make a great story, anger is just another useful tool in the "shed of emotions". Some soldiers will listen to metal when they are in combat, and some chess players listen to metal when they duel it out on the chess board. Its simple. Listen to metal. do it.

First Blog Post

Hey guys, this is my first blog so i'll explain the subjects I like to talk about so you'll have an idea of what I'm about.
---While the title is "Lucid Chess", don't worry I'm not going to only talk about chess. When I do, it will most likely be linked with some "way of life" bullshit lol (I will make it interesting).
---Philosophy
---Politics
---Science
---Religion

This will be my interpretation of these topics through my experiences and research that I have done. Pretty much everything I talk about is debatable (besides science), So don't be offended if my ideas don't line up with yours.
